Devil is in the EATtails

 


I just love these Dept. 56 devil cup and cider dispenser. What could go better than spicy Aztec hot chocolate and brimstone brownies? Hot chocolate is topped with whipped flames made from heavy cream, yellow & orange food coloring gel, and sprinkled with orange & red sugar.

For the brimstone brownies, I used the boxed brownie mix shown below. It already has chocolate chunks in the mix. I also added black sugar sprinkles on the black brownie topping just before baking. I think the sparkly sugar gives it a realistic texture. Not only are these great for Halloween, but would be perfect for a luau since they look like flowing lava.
