One of my favorite tablescapes and it's one of the first ones that I used our dining room table for Halloween dinner.
I have used these Crate & Barrel ceramic cauldron bowls for so many foods. They are the perfect size and so festive. The pumpkin plates were also from Crate & Barrel. Dept 56 witch's hat and Chris Van Allsburg's The Widow's Broom book are in the background.
Recycled kombucha bottles with vintage-looking apothecary labels.
Two of the three Beason boys are highly allergic to poison ivy and always seem to attract it, so an avocado vinagerette was created in their honor.
Main course was a cauldron of roasted potato bones and split pea soup with black cat grilled cheese sandwiches. Beverage is pollywog juice.
Dessert was ice cream sandwich witch hats filled with a mini M&Ms surprise.
